MG Obsession has thousands of used parts available for immediate dispatch. All items are carefully checked and tested or visually inspected prior to removal! All of our items are marked with our own unique Identification mark for security purposes.
When purchasing any used item from MG Obsession you are agreeing to the part being a second hand item unless otherwise stated. You understand that this item has been fitted to another vehicle and has been removed for re use. Used items are exactly this and not new. Prior to refitting it is up to the purchaser to check and satisfy themselves that they are happy with the parts condition and compatibility.By fitting the item you deem this item to be fit for purpose.
Delivery
We use a variety of delivery methods including various couriers and the Royal mail. The couriers we use operate a 24 hr delivery service from the day the parcel is collected NOT from when the item is ordered. Parcels can be delivered between 8am and up to 8pm. If you require a tracking number please ask and we will provide you with one. Products are usually sent within 2 working days unless otherwise stated. All of our couriers will require a signature upon delivery, they will not leave the item in a porch, shed or behind the bin. If no one is home to accept the delivery the item will be returned to the holding depot. Delivery will then have to be re arranged which could include a re booking fee made payable to the booking agent not MG Obsession. The courier will not give an exact time for delivery.
If the item is damaged on arrival do not sign for the item and send it back with the courier. If there is no time to check the item before the courier leaves then sign the relevant paperwork as item not checked. Failure to do this could result in any claim against them being unsuccessful.
Any items damaged in transit will need to be claimed through the booking agent/courier by MG Obsession. On every occasion photographic evidence of the packaging and product will be required from the customer to satisfy both the courier and MG Obsession of negligence by the courier. Without this no refund or replacement can be sent out to you the customer.
The Royal Mail offer a delivery service for our smaller items. We always obtain proof of delivery and tracking details if recorded delivery has been selected as a method of delivery. In the event of your item not arriving we follow the Royal Mails claim policy, for details please visit their website.
Returns
Any part correctly supplied by MG Obsession and returned to us within 5 working days is subject to a 20% re stocking charge at the discression of MG Obsession.
Before any part is returned a MG Obsession a returns number will be required. Please contact MG Obsession by phone or email to obtain one. Failure to do so will delay any exchange or refund.
In the event of a part being ordered in error by the customer a refund or exchange is available only if returned within 5 working days of receipt of the item to MG Obsession. Return costs will be covered by the customer and not MG Obsession. If the correct part is not available or required a 20% re stocking fee will be deducted from any refund amount given
If MG Obsession supply an incorrect part a replacement will be sent once the original item has been returned to us well packaged and un-damaged. If this happens MG Obsession will need a copy of the postal receipt to reimburse you the postal charge. Failure to do so will result in a delay or no reimbursement being made.
MG Obsession do not offer a BUY, TRY AND RETURN policy. Please ensure the part ordered is the part needed especially with electrical items.
Faulty items
All used parts supplied by MG Obsession through our eBay store are covered by our 5 day repacement offer unless otherwise stated from the date received (we have access to delivery tracking). Only items shown on your receipt are covered.
All suspected faulty items must be logged with MG Obsession within 5 working days from the delivery date
All items must be sent with the original invoice number and a completed MG Obsession faulty item form and a full diagnostic print out where applicable. If a printout is not available a mechanical report to include all fault codes will be required. To obtain a MG Obsession faulty item form please contact MG Obsession within 10 working days from the item arrival date and one will be sent out via email for you to complete. Failure to do this will result in either no replacement / refund being issued.
If an item is found to have no fault the item will be sent back to the purchaser at their cost
If the item is found to have a fault a replacement will be dispatched within 2 working days, if no replacement is available a full refund we be issued. We will only offer a refund if a replacement is not available, the item has our security mark and deemed to be UN tampered with. Our guarantee covers parts only! It does not cover any garage labour,recovery or resulting accident costs arising from fitting of any used part! If no replacement part is available we will offer a full refund of the part only. It is your responsibility to check any part(s) supplied are correct and in good useable order prior to fitting.Warranties are not transferable
No credit/debit card details are stored by MG Obsession.
